Digital Prepress Manager
Summary:
- The role of the Digital Prepress Manager is to lead the Prepress Department and assist with color management. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, implementation and sustaining best practices for prepress, preflight, digital art file preparation for print, assisting with our color management program, and managing prepress automation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Prepress Department staff members, track, manage and drive all programs and projects.

Manage incoming daily orders to meet Image Craft on time, accuracy, and efficiency standards. Coordinate/communicate with all department leadership to establish appropriate priorities.

Maintain a well-balanced fully capable team, train/cross train entire team to ensure there are no gaps in capabilities.
- Apply industry knowledge of color methodology while assisting existing color management technical specialists.
Key Qualifications:
- Broad experience with Grand Format Printing equipment and procedures, Prepress, Color Management, and graphic finishing equipment, techniques, and operations.

Expert color analysis skills and extensive experience working prepress and color conversion processes in RGB and CMYK with eye for quality and detail.

Ability to identify, understand and apply advanced techniques in Adobe Suite.

A formidable team partner and mentor, enthusiastic about supporting team culture, collaborate and demonstrate a flexible approach to working across multiple teams.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, 7 – 10 years’ experience in high quality Grand Format printing production with expertise in prepress and color management.
